Ruben Sammut’s Chelsea hidden starlet with Maltese roots!

Talented and good with both feet Ruben Sammut can make the grade with the London club in the coming years.

Ruben SammutHard to see and to believe that in the Chelsea F.C Academy there is actually a Maltese surname stamped on their shirts. Here’s the Chelsea Academy Under 11 player Ruben Sammut. The million dollar question is, could he play for Malta in the near future? In the research that I’ve done Ruben Sammut is getting on really well with impressive performances and is tipped to become a star in the years to come. Ruben, a right & left footed player with pace, agility, balance and skill, Ruben joined Arsenal FC Academy aged 6 and left to sign with Chelsea aged 8. He has progressed as a ‘real’ natural talent at Chelsea into the under 11s squad and is tipped to become a formidable player of the future. Ruben also plays for Maidstone District and Kent School Boys U11s.

Ruben Sammut is highly rated not just in England but also on certain important websites such as We will keep an eye on him, and I consider the M.F.A to investigate this young starlet before it’s too late.

Could we see Ruben Sammut in the Maltese Red Shirt in the future?

We wish to see him in the international scene… a few years more. If he can't get the England call, we'll give him a shot in the Maltese red shirt. Thanks for the comment

After seeing this guy play, I think England is a dead cert too. I do know there are a lot of other English clubs interested in him, so Malta will have to put up a fight.
