Naxxar Lions youngster Daren Falzon has made his mark with an impressive goal scoring record at his tender age!
Daren Falzon must be 18 years of age but the Naxxar Lions striker is born to bombard the opponents net with his official goals that speaks for itself.
The hot prospect which will be certainly on the buyer’s eye view in the summer has been catching the eye of many with his goals. Daren Falzon has so far scored 14 league goals with the senior side that plays in the Division 2 in Malta and he also scored 2 goals in the Trophy Cup. Apart from that Daren Falzon managed to score even more goals with the U18s squad which were 15 goals. That’s 31 goals this season alone.
Last season Daren Falzon had another great season infront of goal with an impressive 25 total senior goals from which he ended the League section’s Top Scorer and amazingly he also managed to score 31 league goals with the U18s with his club Naxxar Lions. That is a staggering of 56 goals in a season for a 17 year old at that time. Is he the striker the national team lacks of???
Naxxar home grown striker Daren Falzon has always had the striker instinct which since he started playing his favourite sport with the Naxxar Lions nursery he earned many achievements and promotions.
Last year Daren also had a spell with Hungarian club Ferencvaros which have Andre Schembri & Justin Haber on their books. He trained with them while they were on a training camp here in Malta in January 2010.
Daren Falzon has a bright future in the game and hopefully he will resolve the big mystery problem in our national team… GOALS!!!
The prolific goal scorer has made the selection of U21 squad under the reigns of Ray Farrugia from which he saw the potential in this 18 year old striker, Daren Falzon.
