Some of you might have forgotten him as he is playing in Hungary with Ferencvaros but he is back with a bang after his injury. Maltese starlet Andre Schembri had a great comeback in the field against Gyor in the 5th league match, which saw him performing some great football skills and was certainly one of the best players in the game.

Schembri was a constant bug to Gyor’s defence together with Heinz the scorer of two great goals. The Maltese attacking midfielder had a goal dissallowed in the first half as he handed the ball unconciously after a nice move. It took less than 3 minutes into the second half for Schembri to put his name among the scorers on the 47th minute with a tap in. Schembri has been fighting these last months to regain full fitness for his club and we hope to we see him back in contention for the national team as Malta surely needs his talent to make some damage for the Euro 2012 Group F opponents. Ferencvaros ar 3rd with 10 points, same as the leaders Debreceni VSC. Here you can see Ferencvaros victory and Andre Schembri’s goal…
