Some of you might have forgotten him as he is playing in Hungary with Ferencvaros but he is back with a bang after his injury. Maltese starlet Andre Schembri had a great comeback in the field against Gyor in the 5th league match, which saw him performing some great football skills and was certainly one of the best players in the game.

Chasetown’s young starlet Christian Vassallo hailed by the senior’s team manager.
Malta U19′s starlet Christian Vassallo has been called up for Malta U19 squad for the two match encounter against Scotland U19 in Glasgow on the 16th and 18th of this month.
Vassallo who is one of the two Maltese players that play abroad (the other one is James Paris), has been hailed to be an interesting prospect as he has established himself with Chasetown F.C for the past years during his scholarship.

Schembri is set for Ferencvaros debut

The Schembri saga came to an end few weeks ago, when the much traveled Maltese starlet made a switch to Hungarian Legends Ferencvaros.

The 24 year old is keen to make his debut this Saturday against Haladas, when the Hungarian League presumes after the winter break. Andre Schembri is not the only Maltese player playing with the club as Maltese International Justin Haber is on of Ferencvaros Goalkeepers. Haber was loaned to Ferencvaros from Sheffield Utd just after the winter break but now he signed an 18 month contract with the club.
