Malta U17 starlets Fabio Muscat & Luke Montebello starred in their first outing with A.S Livorno!
In the first friendly for the Maltese duo who joined A.S Livorno few weeks ago, has shown why they have been snapped by the Amaranto club. They played against Pro Livorno Sorgenti and both Fabio Muscat & Luke Montbello played a small part during the match which ended 4-0.

Are we seeing any progress in our youth hopefuls?
Malta U17, the hosts of the Uefa U17 Qualifying mini-tournament held this week at the Centenary Stadium come out with just a point from three matches. The Maltese youngsters had to battle against Ireland, Norway and minnows Albania to eventually secure a place in the UEFA Elite Tournament.

In the first encounter of the UEFA U17 qualifying mini-tournament held at the Centenary Stadium, the Maltese side started off on the wrong foot as they were beaten by the convincing Irish youngsters 1-3.

The many new faces in the Maltese squad were up beaten by the tough Irish side which they dominated during the 90mins. Birkirkara’s U17 captain Michael Camilleri has been granted a trial with the Londoners at White Hart Lane. Camilleri has already made his debut with the senior club Birkirkara, who already saw potential in the young striker.

Camilleri which is an automatic selection in Malta U17 squad, has caught the eye in his performances both in the youth league and recently in the U17 Uefa Elite Tournament played in England few weeks ago.
