Malta U21 starlets performed another brilliant match against Lithuania U21 where the locals convinced once again with a 1-2 win away.

Malta U21 were motivated especially in the first half with Rowen’s equalizer but saw 10 men’s Montenegro fighting spirit fruitful as they leveled the score in the dying minutes of the game.

New-look Malta U21 side goes down to a goal in a friendly played in Nicosia.
In preparation for next year’s Europeans U21 Competition new faced Malta went to play in Nicosia against the Cypriots. With a number of new faces Malta U21 coach Edwin Camilleri had the chance to experiment with his new squad.
Cyprus went on to win the match with a goal scored in the 32nd minute from Alkiviadous. Malta kept at bay the Cypriots but couldn’t get the goal needed to level the score.

This afternoon at 5pm the Maltese U21 youngsters will play against the talented France U21 in Stade de la Licorne, Amiens for the last outing of the qualifying matches.

2 days 2 draws for Malta! Good start for the Dede era as he may brought some luck already together with a good performance for both the Maltese nationals.
