Bogdanovic struggling in Sheffield?
Sheffield Utd’s summer signing, Maltese big man Daniel Bogdanovic is certainly not a happy man with the situation that he is left on the bench more than he’d ever thought this season.
After a great season with his former club Barnsley, Bogdanovic wanted to change air to prove himself with a bigger club challenging for the top 6 in the Championship. A hit and run situation were Kevin Blackwell was sacked after few matches and Gary Speed took over seems to have changed Boggy’s plan.

An extraordinary ‘Tripletta’ from the Malteser Andre Schembri put Ferencvaros back on track in the Hungarian League.
The Maltese striker’s impressive displays can only be described as Magical thanks to his hard work to get back to his best form in such a short time. Schembri who currently is with 5 goals in the Top scorers charts worked his magic once again, this time in an away match against Vasas Budapest. The Fradi striker scored on the 22nd, 32nd and 53rd minute to give the greens the 3 points needed.

Birkirkara’s U17 captain Michael Camilleri has been granted a trial with the Londoners at White Hart Lane. Camilleri has already made his debut with the senior club Birkirkara, who already saw potential in the young striker.

Camilleri which is an automatic selection in Malta U17 squad, has caught the eye in his performances both in the youth league and recently in the U17 Uefa Elite Tournament played in England few weeks ago. One of the few Maltese young players playing abroad is Matthew Robert Gauci who plays with Lowestoft Town F.C,  was recently selected to represent Suffolk Regional Team in the U.K Regional League after he caught the eye of Suffolk coaches with his excellent performances on the left flank for his club both with the Youths and with the Reserves. U.K Regional League is considered to be of a high standard one, with most of the players playing semi-professional and professional with host of top English clubs.

Making the grade in his trade is the Msida loanee player Miguel Ciantar. The Maltese Starlet has been attracting interest from Top European clubs since he was in the Sliema Wanderers Nursery. His chance will come as he is showing promise with his performances and skill with his loan club Msida, where he moved for more match practice from mother club Sliema Wanderers F.C.
