Malta were beaten by Greece in a 3-1 result away from home in a full packed Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus in the Euro Qualifying match of Group F.
The Maltese were poor in the first half and managed to concede an early goal in the 8th minute of the match with Fetfatzidis scoring after he was left alone in the box. Then on the 26th minute the greek 19 year old youngster K. Papadopoulos scored with a nice header beaten Malta goalkeeper A. Hogg between the legs.
