Under 21 clash between Malta & Sweden at the Hibs Stadium for the UEFA Under 21 Qualifications  Round Group 2… Bring it On!
The Maltese side led by Ray ‘Zazu’ Farrugia had a flying start of this campaign and are looking to add more points when facing Swedish U21 side at the Hibs Stadium tonight at 7pm.
With last week fixtures in the Maltese Premier League that could have influenced in 2 key Maltese players out injured, coach Ray Farrugia will put his best available side to face Sweden.

The Maltese youngsters under the reign of coach Branko Nisevic and his assistant William Mock will have to play against very tough and talented countries; Poland on Wednesday 19th October, Spain Friday 21st October & hosts Montenegro on Monday 24th October. Ray Farrugia’s Maltese starlets showed once again a brilliant fighting spirit like never seen before. Austria & Denmark Under 19s too hot to handle for Malta!
Austria & Denmark Under 19s came out victorious in the clash for the UEFA Under 19 Championships against Malta in Group 12.
Maltese youngsters led by Branko Nisevic lost the game 3-0 in Austria in their first match on the 5th October 2011 at the Ertl Glas – Amstetten as the tough opposition scored their goals in the 22′ Krenn, 70′ Spiridnoovic, 73′ Ritzmaier.

In the second match against the talented Denmark, Malta lost 4-0 with Andreas Cornelius scoring a double 31′, 40′, Viktor Fischer 14′, Nicolai Brock-Madsen 75′ for the Danes.
